Prosthetics are worn as an extension of body parts for a person who lost a limb due to some medical condition, accident, illness or as the result of a birth defect. In order to replace missing limbs, artificial devices are used and linked to the remaining tissue or stump, which will enable the wearer to regain some or all of the functions that are missing.
